The Bada Bing

The Bada Bing!

Every southern gentleman is called on to cook for that special person in his life once in a while. Try the following to impress that southern belle!

Serves 8

1/2 Jar of Artie Bucco’s Fra Diavolo Sauce (or 16 oz)(buy it)

Enough grated sharp cheddar to cover the meat and sauce(~8oz)

1 onion

1/4 stick of butter

1 good sized boneless chicken breast cut into bitesized pieces(about 8 oz).

Get out a good sized skillet heat it up with the butter. Chop the onion and put it into the skillet (cool them down a bit) Add the cut up chicken.

Cook till the chicken is done and browned somewhat.

Now put the the Fra Diavolo sauce into the skillet and mix it up well.

Let it heat up.

While that is heating up cut the French bread into about 3/4-1 inch slices.

When the sauce is hot spread the cheese on top so that it covers it completely. Let the cheese begin to melt.

Once that happens lay the bread on top of the cheese and push it down into The sauce and cheese. Let it soak up a little sauce (3 mins). Now flip each Piece of bread over and push it down into the sauce.

Have HER favorite wine ready to serve at a nicely set table.

Serve with a chilled Caesar salad…(right out of the bag is fine)

The whole thing takes maybe a ½ hour to prepare and its soooo easy.

If SHE likes her food really spicy add 2 Chipotle peppers chopped up into the mix (when browning The chicken and onions). This is not A suggestion for those that do not LIKE hot foods. :
